We’ve raised roughly half of the funding required; donations are still quite welcome, in any amount.

I’ll be competing in the Super Open Freestyle division with Australian shepherd Olivia (Open Mind’s Foreign Affair). Oli is an incredibly talented freestyle dog, definitely the best of our three (and the other two are damn good!). She’s qualified for various championships pretty much every year she’s been in the sport, but due to the high cost we’ve not yet been able to make the journey to the USA together.

She’s in her prime, and for the past two seasons has been chalking up one impressive freestyle win after another throughout Europe. Here’s a partial list:

  • 1st place at the USDDN qualifier in Poznan, Poland, June, 2011
  • 1st place at the Usti Dog Festival, Czech Republic, August 2011
  • 2nd place at the Czech Championship, Nymburk, September 2011
  • 3rd place at the USDDN European Championship, Belgium, September 2011
  • 2nd place at the USDDN qualifier in Tovańćov, Czech Republic, May 2012
  • 1st place at Fun Factory for Frisbee, Czech Republic, June 2012
  • 1st place, best freestyle, and winner of the Brno cup, July 2012
  • 2nd place (of 79 teams!), USDDN European Championship, Poznan, Poland
  • 4th place, Czech Championship, Nymburk, September 2012

As one of Europe’s top freestyle dogs, Oli deserves her chance to play among the best in the world. Don’t you agree? Then show her some support by donating, and spreading the word!

Or, if you prefer, you can give your money to border collie Bamm Bamm. ;) He is also coming along, to compete in the Super Pro Toss & Fetch division, and to be my and Oli’s therapy dog.
